Rowing boats on the beach, Margate or Dover
original art: drawing. The boat at top left is lettered on the Transom 'DUKE OF YORK / MARGATE [&?] Dover', which suggests it might belong to a vessel operating between or from those ports. The one at centre below has a name beginning 'NO...' beyond its rudder and 'DOVER' on the viewer's side. [PvdM 10/19]
