Unnamed 50ft iron coal barge for service in the Cape of Good Hope (1865)

Scale 1:24. Plan shows the sheer lines, longitudinal half breadth and body plan for a 50ft iron coal barge to be used in the Cape of Good Hope. The plan bears the signature of John Ford and has been stamped with the name and address of Thames Iron Works. The title of the plan is "Sheer draught of the Iron barges for H. M. Service at the Cape of Good Hope to carry 40 tons of coal in sacks". This plan is noted as number 1 of 3.
