Scale 1:24. Plan shows the midship section for a unnamed 160ft paddle steamer for service on the River Niger (1870). The plan bears the signature of Sir Edward Reed [Chief Constructor of the Navy 1863-1870] and Robert Spencer Robinson [Controller of the Navy 1861-1871]. The title of the plan is "Paddle Wheel Steam Vessel of 80 H.P. and 460 Tons for service on the River Niger". The words "1715 Niger Boat, Paddle" are written on the reverse of the plan.
