Scale 1:24. Plan shows the midship section and framing detail design drawing for a unnamed 254ft armoured barbette battleship proposed by George Turner (1860). A note on the drawing states this plan was prepared in accordance to their Lordships order of 2 January 1860. The title of the plan is "Midship Section of a ship in Iron Armour (submitted as being invulnerable) proposed by Mr George Turner Master Shipwright of Woolwich Dockyard April 30 1860". The technical details of the framing and midship section are on the left hand side of the drawing.
