Distant view of Wieringen
The unsigned drawing shows two views of Wieringen from the water with various vessels in front of the coastal profile. Above is a distant view with a beacon on the left, a church in the middle and a village (Wieringe) on the right silhouetted against the sky. Below it the artist has drawn a slightly nearer view of what is probably also Wieringen, but seen from a different direction. Between the two views is a sketch of a smallship under sail off the land.
