        Signed by the artist, lower left, this bird's-eye view of Scapa Flow as reproduced in colour in his co-authored book 'More Sea Fights of the Great War' (1919), f. p. 24, under the title given here. The colour plate has a printed key in its margins of places shown. Down the left edge from centre to bottom: Long Hope, Gutter Sound [sic], Fara, Weddel Sound, Flotta, Calf of Flotta (the islet lower left). Across the top from centre to centre right: Island of Hoy [aand below this] Rica, Cava, Ward Hill. Down the right edge from centre: Hoy Sound, Graemsay, Bring Deeps, Houton, The Barrel of Butter (the lowest islet shown).
