Seascape, Le Croisic
This striking seascape, done in oil on paper, is brighter and bolder than many of Everett’s other depictions of the sea. Firm and purposeful brushstrokes portray a choppy sea on what appears to be a hot day. The bright blue, grey, and green waves are almost geometrically shaped, contrasting pleasantly with the clear blue expanse of cloudless sky.
