The ship 'Duke of Atholl'
A ship’s portrait of the three-mast sailing vessel ‘Duke of Atholl’, shown broadside on and in full sail. She was built in 1865 on the Clyde by Denny & Rankine of Dumbarton in Yard 148. She was later owned by Devitt and Moore from 1880-89. She probably sailed in the China Seas and a ship of this name travelled frequently between London and Sydney.
