HMS Duncan at Mahon
Oil painting depicting H.M.S. Duncan (1811), marked on the back of the painting "Duncan drying sails at Port Mahon". Fishermen on the rocks in the foreground, boat with a striped sail on the right, the Duncan centre-right, starboard-broadside. The artist is unknown, but unpon bequest (Godfrey Gooch, 1967) the artist was thought to be William Anderson.
