Ship's badge HMS Nubian 1937. Official design. On a field barry wavy of six white and blue the head of a Nubian in profile proper. Shield shape within rope twist border, with a naval crown above. 'NUBIAN' in name tablet. Pattern approved in 1938. Cast brass painted.
