Jubilee Medal, Queen Victoria 1887
Awarded to Adm of the Fleet Sir Geoffrey Thomas Phipps Hornby. Obverse: Bust of Queen Victoria (L) Legend: "VICTORIA D.G. REGINA ET IMPERATRIX F.D." Reverse: Within a wreath of roses, shamrocks and thistles surmounted by the Imperial crown. Inscription: "IN COMMEMORATION OF THE 50TH YEAR OF THE REIGN OF QUEEN VICTORIA 21 JUNE 1887". Fitted with a loop & ring & a blue ribbon with two white stripes. Mounted on a bar with two other medals in fitted case which is numbered ZBA8035.
