Crimea War Medal 1854
Awarded to Sir George Morice. Obverse: Head of Queen Victoria with a diadem, hair tied in a knot (L). Legend: "VICTORIA REGINA". Below "1854". Reverse: Victory flying (R) crowning with a laurel wreath a Roman soldier standing (L) with shield and short sword. Inscr. (rev.) "CRIMEA" (vertical, L) suspended from a foliated bar and pale blue ribbon edged with yellow. Bars: "SEBASTOPOL" Inscription on edge: "GEO. MORICE, MASTER'S ASST". Mounted on a bar with one other.
