Awarded to Commander Warren Fred Postel USN. Obverse: Tropical landing scene with a battleship, aircraft carrier, submarine and aeroplane in the background with troops landing in the foreground. Legend: "ASIATIC PACIFIC CAMPAIGN". Reverse: An American Eagle, inscription: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 1941-1945". Suspended from a yellow ribbon with a stripe of blue/white/red in the centre and white/red/white on each side. A bronze Battle Star is fixed to the centre of the ribbon.
