Royal Victorian Medal 1902
Awarded to William Charles Primmer RN (1853-1928). Obverse: Bust of Queen Victoria, crowned and wearing a veil (left), and order. Legend: 'VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX'. Reverse: The Royal Cypher upon an ornamental shield, within a wreath of scrolls on top of the name of the award. Inscription: 'VRI'. 'ROYAL VICTORIAN MEDAL'. Silver medal surmounted by a Tudor crown with fitted ring, worn suspended from a dark blue ribbon edged with red/white/red stripes. Mounted on a bar with seven others.
