Coronation medal, Edward VII 1902
Awarded to Admiral of the Fleet John Arbuthnot Fisher (1841-1920). Oval with ornamental rim. Obverse: Busts of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, crowned (left). Reverse: Royal Cypher surmounted by a crown. 'E R VII', '26 JUN 1902'. Suspended by a crown and ring for suspension from a dark blue ribbon with a scarlet central stripe and narrow white edges. Mounted on a bar for wearing with six other medals.
On the 10 June 1902, Fisher was appointed a Lord of the Admiralty and 2nd Naval Lord, also Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath, in the Coronation honours list on 2nd June.
