Celestial table globe

Celestial table globe. Astronomical details on the globe include only the principal stars in each constellation. The stars in each constellation are joined up, but the areas of the sky each constellation represents are not shown. The Milky Way is labelled but there is no illustration. The globe is blue with yellow stars. The gores are paper and the whole globe has been varnished. There is no meridian ring. The sphere is mounted on its polar axis and has a metal base. The sphere bears an inscription in English.
