A fragment of German shell recovered from the battlecruiser HMS Inflexible (1907) during the battle of Jutland
Fragment of German shell mounted on a rectangular base. The battlecruiser HMs Inflexible (1907) was not hit during the battle of Jutland but she was straddled by German shells which may have thrown up fragments when exploding on impact with the water.
