Obverse: Bust of Admiral Tromp similar to the preceding against a diapered background within a legend of large lettering and a laurel garland. Legend: 'MART . HERP . TROMP . R . L . ADM . V . HOLL . E . WESTV . AO 1653'. Reverse: His armorial shield with supporters, a naval action upon a cartouche below. Inscription on a ribbon above 'OBYT. AE. 56.'
