Obverse: Bust of Admiral Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, Comte de Toulouse (1678-1737) (right). Legend: 'L . ALEXA . DE BOURBON C . DE TOULOUZE ADMIRAL DE FCE.' Reverse: A stormy sea above, the full moon surrounded by clouds. Legend: 'MANET INTEGRA VIRTUS.' (Valour remains unshaken.) Exergue: 'MARINE . 1722 .' The collapse of Law's enterprises placed the East India Company in considerable difficulty.
