Counter commemorating the Navy inactive under Cardinal Fleury. Obverse: Bust of Admiral Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, Comte de Toulouse (1678-1737) in armour and mantle. Legend: 'L . ALEXA . DE BOURBON C . DE TOULOUZE ADMIRAL DE FCE.' Reverse: Three falcons perched and chained to a bar. Legend: 'NEC SPONTE QUIESCUNT.' (Nor are they willingly quiet.) Exergue: 'MARINE . 1727 .' The obverse is incised with two stars below the bust (The constellation Gemini).
