Ingot commemorating the 'Bounty'

Rectangular shaped ingot. Obverse: Starboard broadside view of the 'Bounty' sails set. Inscription: 'BOUNTY'. Reverse: Inscription, 'BOUNTY 1789. The "Bounty" is immortalized in history is the ship commanded by William Bligh during the historic mutiny of April 28, 1789. The ship had completed an epic 27,000-mile voyage from England to Tahiti when the mutiny took place. Led by Fletcher Christian, the mutineers later burned the ship at Pitcairn Island hoping to escape detection.'
