Scinde War Medal, 1843

Obverse: Head of Queen Victoria with a diadem, hair tied in a knot (L). Legend: "VICTORIA REGINA". Reverse: Under a Royal Crown and within a wreath of laurel tied with a bow, inscription: "MEEANEE 1843", and on edge, "T: HILL 1ST C: ENGR:C:V:SATELLITE". Fitted with a wide bar and shot silk ribbon with yellow centre, bordered with rose and white (L) and white and blue stripes (R).
