Sind War Medal, 1843

Obverse: Head of Queen Victoria with a diadem, hair tied in a knot (L). Legend "VICTORIA REGINA". Reverse: under a Royal Crown and within a wreath of laurel tied with a bow, inscription: "HYDERABAD 1843", and on edge, "PETER BOYES A:B: E:I;C; SR METEOR". Fitted with a wide bar and shot silk ribbon with yellow centre bordered with rose and white (L) and white and blue stripes (R).
