Legend: "ENGLAND EXPECTS EVERY MAN TO DO HIS DUTY". Reverse: Inscription: "PRESENTED BY THE COMMITTEE TO EDWARD BEACHAM". (Name incuse). "ON HIS RETURN FROM SECOND VOYAGE WITH GOOD CHARACTER". Fitted with a ring and blue ribbon.
