Naval Good Shooting Medal 1910-1914
Obverse: Bust of King George V in naval uniform, orders and medals (L). Legend: 'Georgivs V BRITT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP:' Reverse: Neptune, grasping thunderbolts in both hands, standing on a platform, behind the prow of a galley, heads of three sea-horses (R). Legend: 'AMAT VICTORIA CVRAM'. Instituted in 1903. Inscription on edge: '170396 H.J. BEAVEN P.O. H.M.S. SWIFT" 1912. 14IN B.L.' Suspended from clasp by a ribbon with central scarlet and two white stripes edged with blue.
