An eagle with wings outspread perched on an anchor; below a wreath of oak and bay tied with a bow. Legend: "UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS". Inscription: "FOR SERVICE". Inscription on edge: "3062". Fitted with a ring and a dark blue ribbon with two central narrow red stripes.
