Reverse: Port broadside view of a barque in the ice, a sledge party in the foreground, icebergs in the distance. Legend: "FOR ARCTIC DISCOVERIES". Exergue: "1818-1855". Suspended by a star and loop from a white ribbon. Uninscribed.
