St Jean d'Acre Medal, Syrian War 1840
Obverse: The Sultan's cypher in Arabic, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Reverse: A fort flying the Turkish flag, above, six stars, inscription below in Arabic: "1256" (1840) "The country of Syria and the fortress of Acre". Fitted with a ring and a red ribbon edged white. Awarded to Lt. G. Harvey RN.
