Silver Royal Victorian Medal 1902
Obverse: Bust of Queen Victoria, crowned and wearing a veil (L), and order. Legend: "VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX". Reverse: The Royal Cypher upon an ornamental shield, within a wreath of scrolls on top of the name of the award. Inscription: "VRI". "ROYAL VICTORIAN MEDAL". Silver medal surmounted by a Tudor crown with fitted ring, worn suspended from a dark blue ribbon edged with red/white/red stripes. Box: Below a Tudor crown, "1902". Inside, below a Tudor crown "ELKINGTON & CO LTD. 22 REGENT ST. S.W." In fitted box of issue.
