Order of the British Empire, 5th class (military) badge. The centre depicts joint effigies of King George V and Queen Mary. Ribbon is purple with central red stripe fashioned into a bow (as worn by ladies). In original case (with admittance card to investiture, June 1919). Awarded to Miss F. Johnston, WRNS.
