Square brass base mounted in wooden box with an aneroid barometer 6.75" (17.1 cm) dia. at centre. Silvered dial with black markings, graduated 28 - 31 by twentieths. A brass and plastic cyclometer (wind disc) with movable pointer in mounted inside the lid of the box. Invented by Jose Algué, Society of Jesus, Director of Manila Observatory, 1897.
