Logbook kept by Charles Thorndike Tucker, master of HMS AMERICA (1810) on the Pacific station, 9 November 1845 to 29 August 1846. Also a few loose documents, including a memorandum from Captain James C. Ross requesting officers under this command to submit all logs, journals and other records of the Antarctic expedition, further to instructions received from the Admiralty, sent from HMS EREBUS (1826) at sea, dated 25 July 1843.
