Earthenware mug, printed with a design which incorporates the Union Flag, a profile of Queen Elizabeth II, Westminster Abbey and the Duke of Edinburgh in naval uniform. Inscribed below 'TO COMMEMORATE THE SILVER JUBILEE OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II 1952-1977'. On two panels on the reverse 'ELIZABETH ALEXANDRA MARY OF WINDSOR, BORN 21ST APRIL 1926 PROCLAIMED 6th FEBRUARY 1952 CROWNED 2nd JUNE 1953', 'THIS MUG IS ONE OF 50 ESPECIALLY OVER PRINTED TO COMMEMORATE THE SILVER JUBILEE OF HER MAJESTY'S CORONATION'. On the base: 'Specially designed for J & J MAY by Clifford Richards'.
