Silver dessert spoon that belonged to Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson (1758-1805)

A silver fiddle-pattern dessert spoon that belonged to Lord Nelson. The mark of William Eley and Willaim Fearn is engraved on the handle. The crest at the top of the handle is the SAN JOSEF Crest, created for Lord Nelson after his capture of the Spanish ship 'San Jose' (renamed 'San Josef') at the Battle of Cape St. Vincent in 1797.
