Cream jug: Alfred Holt & Co. Ltd
An electroplated cream jug It has a bowl shaped body, indented at the neck and opening into a flat rim at the top. The house flag of Alfred Holt & Co. Ltd (Blue Funnel Line) is engraved on the side. On the base of th bowl is the Walker & Hall flag and the maker's mark. Also inscribed on the bowl are the words "E, WALKER & HALL SHEFFIELD, AI, WARRANTED HARD & SILVER SOLDERED, 106". The jug is very worn and dented.
