Electroplated fork- SS 'Satara'

An electroplated fork, with an early english pattern, used by the British India Steamship Navigation Company ship SS 'Satara'. Inscribed on the ring is a belt and buckle motif with the words "B.I.S.N.CO SS 'SATARA". The maker's mark "H.D.C.R & SONS". The plate on the fork is worn.
