Two flintlock tinder lighters
Two flintlock tinder lighters with steel and brass mounts and mahogany stocks, reputedly belonging to Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805), but the provenance is dubious. They are not a pair. One example is inscribed: 'I. SAVIGE HAMPTON'. Both have labels is attached which read: 'Tinder lighter from Nelson's home The Parsonage House, Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk'.
