In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Upon consideration of your report of 13 June on the petition of Elizabeth Austen, widow and administratrix of Richard Austen, deceased, praying his wages for the time he served as Boatswain of the MARY, you are directed (notwithstanding there are no accounts of the stores committed to his custody) to pay her £7.9.6 which you advise is his wages for the time served. You are to take care that the wages due to Captain Arthur, Commander of the MARY, are not paid until such time as he has complied with the Lord High Admiral's instructions about the officers accounts of stores.
