Sectional model; Beam
Scale: Unknown. Sectional model of a ship's side with a deck beam secured by a metal knee made of wood and metal. The exterior is made up of individul planks which have been pinned to five frames internally using both metal and wooden fastenings. There is the remains of a metal shroud plate? on the exterior. Internally a section of planking is missing above and below the deck beam as well as another deck beam which is also missing. The deck beam which has been bevelled on its lower edges is secured by a standard lodging knee which is complete with a vertical support at right angles to the waterline.
