Sectional model; Midship model

Scale Unknown. A model showing the midship section of a warship, entirely made from wood and painted in realistic colours. The hull is painted an off-white with a broad black band along the gunwale, and a black painted rail. The interior of the model shows the main and lower decks, both painted black. The lower deck has a hatch cover in the centre and on either side are two rectangular cavities below which are two shoots with their outer sides at angles of 60 degrees. Below are two longitudinal partitions, dividing the hold into three, and forming the upright walls of the ship. Two doors in the walls allow access to the shoots. There are two pairs of gun ports on the main deck to port and starboard, and below them are two pairs of three rocket ports with port lids. The model shows a section of keel which is attached to a simple black-painted wooden baseboard.
