HMS 'Imogen' (1831); Warship; Sixth rate 28-gun

Scale: 1:6. A midship sectional model showing the gun deck and port on board HMS 'Imogen' (1831), a sixth rate 28-gun warship. The model has been painted with the traditional outboard colours of black and white, with the gun port interior finished in red. Inboard the model is finished with creamy white bulwark and a dark brown stained finish to the deck. There are a number of eyes and two bow shackles, and a single pivot point inboard to secure and work the 32 pounder carronade. In addition to this the lower gun port lid is fitted with hinges and latches which when realised allows it to be folded down.
