Sectional model; Gun model

Scale: Unknown. A model of a section of gundeck and hull with a muzzle loading gun on a pivoting carriage made in wood and metal and painted black. The section of hull is inclined at an angle of about 75' to the gundeck and includes a single gunport but no lid. The gun is cast in metal and features a cascabel through which a rope is passed securing it to the ship's side. The carriage is made of wood and has only two trucks at the rear. The front of the carriage is attached to a securing device which pivots on a bolt fixed to the ship's side.
