Kit bag fastener. Hinged, with one straight and one curved arm, the end of the curved arm passes through a hole in the straight arm and is secured by a padlock. Belonged to Mr Victor Brooks, a purser with the New Zealand Shipping Co and Port Line 1941-1972. He worked for Cunard until his retirement in 1979.
