Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1961
Chief Engineer's monkey jacket. Dark blue. 2 1/2 gold stripes on cuffs with purple cloth between stripes and surmounted by a crown. Eight gilt buttons bearing crown of 1901 - 1953 pattern. Black lining, white sleeve lining. Medal ribbons: MBE; DSM; 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; Pacific Star; Italy Star; Defence Medal; War Medal 1939-45; L.S. and G.C.M. Two vents at back. Three outside and two inside pockets.
