Bowl: A brass bowl with black exterior and white interior. Has a black lubber spike and a heavy weight at base. Filler plug at side and expansion chamber at bottom. In double gimbals.
Card: A reduced diameter mica card, white with black markings graduated to quarter points.
Needle: Unsighted
Pivot: Unsighted
Binnacle: A square wooden binnacle with brass glazed pyramid hood. There is a door for access to compass and a gimbal locking device. The hood has three fixed windows, a large one for observation and two for lamps, one window being blanked off by a brass plate when not in use. Has securing rings on either side.
Dims: 8.75" x 8.5" x 13" (22.2cm x 21.6cm x 33cm) O.A. Height 15" (38cm)
