Eighty-four buttons.
Fifty-eight buttons have a rope twist edge. Within a raised circular border on a lined background is a pre-1901 crown above a fouled anchor with the rope tied to the ring at the top, then goes under the right-hand side of the stock, goes over the shank to the left and then under the shank to the right and finishes under the right arm. Commissioned officers.

Twenty-six buttons have a rope twist edge. Within a raised circular border on a lined background is a pre-1901 crown with a fouled anchor below it, with the rope going under the right-hand stock, then under the shank to the left and then over the shank to the right and under the right-hand arm.
