Liquid compass
Bowl: White metal, held in holder painted black. Three deck brackets, one with vernier. Glazed. Has azimuth circle with two locking nuts. Fill hole on side. White inside with black lubber spike, Expansion chamber underneath.
Card: No card
Needle: Four needles slung beneath a domed float, four cardinal arms and four damper arms.
Azimuth circle: Black, marked in white, graduated to 360 degrees and to eight points. Has four wires across circle in North to South axis.
