Monkey jacket
Chief engineer's Merchant Navy monkey jacket. Doeskin material as Royal Navy pattern but jacket has Merchant Navy pattern buttons and four Merchant Navy pattern stripes of gold lace on purple cloth. Three medal ribbons : BWM, Mercantile Marine (1914 - 1918) and 1939 - 1945 star.
