Liquid compass.

Bowl: Brass painted black with a weight at the base. Filler plug at side. Held in gimbals on U shaped bracket. Verge ring graduated 0 - 360 degrees in an anti-clockwise direction. Verge has two moveable, in azimuth, course indicators. Bowl painted white on inside with painted red lubber line. Height of bowl 1.75" (4.4 cm)

Card: Mica painted white with black markings. Graduated to 0 - 360 degrees and to 8 points. Domed float at the centre. Red line from centre to decorated North point.

Needle: Unsighted.

Pivot: Unsighted.

Set on wooden stand diameter 4.5" (11.4 cm)
