Marine chronometer with fragment of letter from Nelson to Bladen Capell written on Victory and dated December 9 1804. The letter has been accessed by the manuscripts section as MS83/133.
The chronometer is gimballed in a mahogany and brass box with key. Brass bezel and silvered dial.
